  Any senior at KDHS or KBHS who will continue higher education can apply (preferably will-be University of Texas A&M student)

• Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA. Current transcript required.
   

• Active member in one or more extracurricular activities. List of activities required.
   
• Two letters of recommendation (one personal and one academic)
   
• One page essay written as a personal statement addressing academic and personal qualities.
   
• Showing official enrollment as a Freshman of a University or College: cheque handed over to the student for expenses needed prior to attendance.

• The selected recipients  will be announced during the KDHS 
  scholarship award ceremony.

A panel of teachers will be selecting candidates for this scholarship. The seniors who apply will need to demonstrate the similar and academic accomplishment as Serena when she was at KDHS.
